Having read several of this authors titles, I was not to surprised by the plot. Long lost prince/sorcerer/warrior & his gay lover/elf/sorcerer find themselves confronted by enemies, who happen to be elven/sorcerer's/the dead!Not a bad story, but as much as I enjoy an erotic novel, I must admit I got fed up of the all two frequent (well written as they were) rather monotonous sex scenes which took up too much of the story. It seemed at times the author had lost his train of thought on the elements of the story, and put another sexual encounter in place until he had formulated where to head the story line.
This could have been a good book, and I was hoping for something along the lines of "Empath" by Axel J Moeller, (also here on Kindle store), which is a great read and of length that allows the reader to get into the story and explore it's varying depths and layers, whereas this felt fairly one dimensional.
I thought I was sitting down for a reasonable read, but found it finished within four hours.
Hopefully this story will continue where it suddenly left off, but no info is available if or when that will be.
All in all I felt a bit let down and disappointed with this story.

there is too much unmotivated sex and the description of it is boring and schematic
the story seems to be made of pieces which dont fit quite together
It's seems to me that this book it's just an excuse for writing sex scenes. If there isn't a chapter with at least three sex scenes, the writer wouldn't be happy. At some point it gets monotonous and I found myself skipping them.
The plot is full of cliches, and there are a lot of gaps. Characters do things without reason or produce things out of thin air.
overall a waste of money and time.
Poor writing and a patently obvious plot. Even the gay sex scenes were boring. Don't bother with this book! I cannot believe there was a book 2.
I loved reading The Lost Son, it kept my attention and when I had to put it down my mind was still focused on the characters and the mystical surroundings. One reader said he was disappointed in the unmotivated sex in the book. When your deeply in love, what other motivation do you need. This book will take you into another frame of mind if you let it. I want, I need the next installment. I highly recommended!
Can't wait for the sequel and will check out authors other books as well ! My first experience with gay romance / sci-fi fantasy, I'm glad I started with this book
I really liked this story. I found the characters and storyline to be well crafted and thought out. It was exciting and I was wanting more...only to find out that the second book of this series isn't out yet. I will definitely buy it when it comes out.
There are sorcerers and creatures and a promise of dragons. Plus the relationship between the main characters is scorching hot and verrry sexy. This is my second time reading this book. The second book in the series, "Dragonblade" was just released and I can't wait to see what happens. Off to read!!
